Decus Interiors: 

Starting off the year with a new fresh mind...

Here at Decus we are always on the hunt for new inspiration to satisfy our creative hearts.  This month we are taking inspiration from handmade elements, looking at the raw textures and honest tones of what nature has to offer.

The Museum Bailo was once a monastery that has had significant refurbishments by Austrian architect Heinz Tesar and local firm Studio Mas. The curved archways and organic wall finishes are all so beautifully elegant yet speak a strong architectural language.

This gorgeous door way is nestled in a neighbourhood of Sao Paulo, Brazil use to be home to a great Brazilian artist, Victor Brecheret. This timber screen softening the light that pours through the gaps.
