Inspired by monumental architecture experienced during his travels through Europe and the Americas, designer Daniel Boddam's Monument Collection honours simplicity, pure form geometry and the permanence of natural materials used throughout the centuries.
The M Round Dining Table with its oak 'pyramidal' base and metallic mid section draws on the Chichén Itzá temple in Mexico for its inspiration together with the streamlined works of sculptor Constantine Brancusi.
The M Coffee Table references the pioneer of modern architecture and design, Le Corbusier, as a study of scale in its simple rectangular form hollowed out in sections to create architectural 'details'.
To see the M Collection in person make an appointment with designer Daniel Boddam at 311/19a Boundary St, Darlinghurst and online at danielboddam.com.
